Leave covered for at least two hours. Once cover is removed, wash with warm soapy water to remove all residue. Only wash like this on the first day. Allow the area to dry and apply a very thin film of after ink balm to the area at least twice a day. Use only enough balm to cover the tattoo without leaving excess on the surface.

Showering is okay, but no soaking, swimming, or direct sunlight for two weeks. When drying, gently pat dry, do not rub. NEVER put balm on when tattoo is wet, always wait for it to dry.

Most importantly, use common sense, a new tattoo is like a graze so when the dry layer forms in the first few days let it heal, no scratching or picking, and let the light scabbing fall away by itself. This is normal healing and this process will take about seven to 10 days.

after ink is packaged in sterile, lined aluminum tubes with tamper proof openings to ensure you a safe and quality product every time. The added bonus of the aluminum is that once your tube runs out you can just throw it in the recycling bin for curb side collection.
